According to high elasticity, the multi-wires connection is not difficult. Twist is often used for it. The five centimeters cable section is cleaned of insulation. Two bare wires are twisted together. The place is protected of twisting with insulating tape or special caps. Therefore, it is recommended to connect multi-wires using soldering.
Today, screw, spring and plate terminal blocks are widely used to make a reliable connection of multi-wires. The disadvantage of screw terminals is that the screw can damage the wire. Spring terminals are much more reliable, which the cable is clamped with plates in. Bimetallic plates are often used; it allows copper and aluminum wires to be interconnected. If it is necessary to make a reliable and durable connection, the coupling of multi-wires is used.
